Ok, It’s official, I’m an Etsy seller and I’m really excited! A few months ago I was worried about how to start an etsy shop, I had no idea! I had many designs I wanted to sell but didn’t know where to start, so here’s what I did.
What’s Etsy?
Etsy is an online marketplace where independent crafters, artists, and collectors can sell vintage, handmade, or custom-made jewelry, clothing, home decor, art, toys, digital products and more.
Anybody can buy on the site, whether you have an Etsy account or need to checkout as a visitor. The buying process is similar as other online retailers, letting you to add things to your cart before checking out. Etsy sellers accept Visa, check cards, Etsy gift vouchers and credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
I took a look at what other etsy sellers were promoting and realized I could do the same, I also realized that many sellers are from the USA but everyone is invited to join, Mexico, Canada and many other countries.
Just in case you’re wondering how to sell on etsy just pick a product and niche, upload nice quality pictures of your product and write about it. Remember you need to use SEO friendly words so your listing shows to more people.
Once you’ve got all this information collected, you can create your first listing. It costs $0.20 to list your items on Etsy. The website takes 5% of the sale price of the item and 3% if you accept Etsy Payments, which includes a $0.25 processing fee.
This is my shop, I sell my gratitude journals in english and spanish, tshirts, logos, some Real Estate Templates, Manifestation Checks and notebooks.
If you’d like to buy something from my store let me know and I can provide you a nice 10% etsy coupon code 🙂
